If you’ve heard the term “e-juice,” “vape juice” or “e-liquid” before and not been sure what it was or what was in it, have no fear, because it is merely three names for the same thing. Or have you wondered what is in eJuice?

If I were writing its definition, it would go like this; ejuice, e-liquid, or vape juice is liquid that is infused, with many many flavors and different levels of nicotine. But I did find an official definition so I will share that with you.

Vape juices are mixed, by mixing nicotine and flavorings with a solvent — often propylene glycol, vegetable glycerine, or a mixture of the two.

With the popularity of personal vaporizers and box mods, which are the electronic device that heats the liquid into a vapor, are on the rise. ejuice or vape juice interests have become a favorite subject throughout the world.

Furthermore, always remember ejuice, liquid, and vape juice is the same thing. Heck if you know that you are almost an expert!

Since this subject was made known to me in one of my comments, it opened my eyes to the fact my posts will read by people thinking about starting vaping. That kind of change my game plan a little because I never wanted to convince someone to vape only help those already vaping, vape on a budget.

I started vaping seven years ago as a way to quit smoking cigarettes, and if you aren’t careful, you could spend thousands of dollars you didn’t need to be staying away from local smoke shops and convenient stores. Altomently I want to help me save money by taking advantage of the savings found online.

Ok, I getting off subject a bit so let get to business and go over some of the health warnings. I will report that I have researched but If you want a complete list of anything or everything you need to visit the AMA website.

1. Does vaping effect my teeth and gums? The first report from the AMA says yes. Ingesting Nicotine can cause damage to your teeth. But then there was a story that told vaping wasn’t harmful So If this subject alarms you, use google and read each report and make up your own.

2. The next big concern is whether or not vaping causes Popcorn Lung. The following is the ALA issues warning:
The chemicals found in e-cigarette liquid, known as “e-juice,” may be a potential cause of popcorn lung. According to the American Lung Association, using electronic cigarettes or vaping, particularly the flavored varieties, can cause popcorn lung.

Picking The Nicotine Level

The strength you choose will be dependent upon your tolerance. Those that switch to vaping after being heavy smokers tend to prefer higher concentrations of nicotine.

For me, it was 16mgs, and then I moved down to 11mgs and sometimes going back 16mgs during stressful times.

But then again I was a pack and half smoker for close to thirty years. Those who smoked cigarettes only a small amount before switching to vaping tend to with lower strength e-liquid nicotine volumes.

The best bet is to experiment and see which nicotine strength works best for you. I recommend you start at a lower level and move up from there.

Be careful not to start too high at first because if it’s too loud, you’ll end up throwing it away and that is a massive waste of money. My partner is a manager at a big chain convenience store, and he gives me the 411 on how the vaping products are doing.

He told me a story about one of his regulars, a vast, robust truck driver, came in and purchased a reduced nicotine disposable e-cigarette because the last one was way too strong, so remember, start low and work up if you also have.

 4 Main Ingredients

  • Water – What can I say other than H2O! Make sure you drink as much as you can because nothing is better for you than water.
  • Propolyne Glycol, a lot of your e-liquids, comes with PG based which gives the most flavor.
  • Or Vegetable Glycerin – Some of our more popular flavors of vape juice come in VG for those who are sensitive to PG. VG based e-liquid does tend to give more vapor but is also thicker which may lessen the life of atomizers
  • Only approved food grade flavors and Nicotine are mid in your eJuice, e liquids, or vape juice.

Why I Started Vaping with Vape Juice

It all started with sneaking cigarettes out of my parent’s cigarette packs when I was a child and teenager. So I  was a bit of a lost cause for when I was old enough to buy them myself. So yes I started young on my nicotine addiction rollercoaster ride.

So I became a regular smoker at eighteen and smoked for 30years. Now I have tried and failed to quit smoking because I knew it was terrible for me. Patches, the mint things, gum, and even some of those voodoo stop smoking tactics I found online. These things would not work therefore seven years ago when vaping came into the picture,

Vaping worked! It was gradual, but vaping helped me quit smoking. I have read all the articles about its dangers but compared to smoking cigarettes. Besides I read a report that their results could not prove vaping cause any of the preceding claims. Smoking cigarettes are 100 times more dangerous than vaping, in my opinion.

Therefore I chose the lessor, by far lesser of two evils. I think the world as a whole might be better without smoking anything, but if history has taught us anything, smokers are going to burn. Why not try to make it safer if we can, maybe not perfect but safer.

Conclusion

I hope I did an excellent job explaining, “What is in EJuice.” Or ELiquid, or vape juice whatever you prefer to call that nicotine-infused juice. I want to thank the person who asked me why on a previous post. I like writing better when I can answer a question from the community. So leave your comments because your problem could be my next article. As always, I wish you all the best and many great days!

  1. What I absolutely love about your articles is they are backed by experience, its so much easier to read through and actually experience what you must have gone through all within your articles. They definitely make me wanna refer anyone addict (s) to kick their habit.

  2. This was informative. I know quite a few people who turned to vaping and they were able to quit smoking. They started off with juice that contains only a mild amount of nicotine, worked their way down to ones with no nicotine before quitting vaping altogether. Like you said, vaping isn’t the healthiest thing, but it appears to be safer than smoking cigarettes.

    1. Thank you, Nate, for reading my article and your comments! I feel like I’m repeating myself, but I love to hear when another person has quit smoking and used vaping to assist them in stopping. I have lowered my nicotine levels to somewhere in the teens, but that nicotine has a real hold on me. Again thank you, Nate!

  3. I think it is a good way to help smokers. It is a safer way as you said. Because, you can control what quantity of the nicotine you are taking. And I saw people who decreased the level of their nicotine intake and significantly improved their health.

Can I get ejuice without nicotine? or are all of them having a certain level of nicotine already?

    Thanks

    1. Thank you for reading and commenting on my article. When you go to submit your ejuice order their will be an extra dropdown just for choosing your nicotine level starting with “no nicotine” then categories displaying higher levels of nicotine. If you are new and aren’t sure which to pick always start low and work your way up.

I recently had someone tell me they liked vaping so much they only vape with no nicotine ejuices.

      Again thank You,

      Cheers, and Take Care!

  4. I have been creating my own vape juice for a while now and I can say that I love experimenting with dosages.

I am using both propylene glycol, vegetable glycerine, as well as nicotine and the flavor. I have found out that the more nicotine you add, the more potent the flavor becomes.

BTW, what’s that popcorn lung you mentioned that might be caused by vaping?

    1. Thank you for reading and commenting on my article.

Popcorn lung” is the nickname for bronchiolitis obliterans. That’s a condition that damages your lungs‘ smallest airways and makes you cough and feel short of breath. It’s sometimes caused by breathing in a chemical used to flavor microwave popcorn. But other chemicals or lung illnesses can also cause popcorn lung.

I have considered mixing my own, but I haven’t been able to find the motivation. Besides, I have so much space being taken up with vaping hardware and ejuices I find it tough to make a decision that would take up more space.

      Thank you again!

      John

  5. If someone ask me to choose between cigarettes and vape juice, I will choose none because I am not a smoker and I know how the health of a smoker deteriorate over time. For smokers, vaping is the best alternative and If were them, I will be decreasing the amount of nicotine I consume until it become extremely low. Then I can consume this low level nicotine intermittently until I finally get over it completely. There is nothing as good as that. I get heartbroken seeing a younger generation developing habit of smoking. This is so uncalled for. This review will go along way in getting people notified what vaping is all about. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Hi Stella,

Thank you for reading and commenting on my article! Nicotine is addictive and not the best for the body. With ejuice, you get to choose what level of nicotine you are consuming. There are many vapers they have cut it down to zero.

I smoked for 30 years before starting to vape, and I have illnesses to prove it. My doctors tell me that my asthma, my sleep apnea, and my COPD all from those years of smoking

Vaping helps me stop cigarette smoking, and I have lowered my nicotine over the years. I would say I am better off!

      Thanks again Stella

Cheers, and take care of yourself.

  6. A couple of thoughts came to mind while reading your blog on eJuice. I have never smoked and probably never will. However, both my parents smoked and this probably adversely affected their health over the years. Perhaps this would have been a great alternative if vaping had been around when they were smoking.

On the subject of picking your right nicotine level, a couple of thoughts also came to mind. Controlling nicotine levels is probably a great way to make the switch from regular smoking, if that was your objective. This could allow for a gradual reduction until you were still vaping, but nicotine-free. My guess is that sometimes its the physical actions that many people require. Kind of like a placebo.

But on a different note, I live in a location where cannabis is legal, both medicinally and recreationally. My wife worked for many years in a pain clinic. People would do whatever it takes to deal with chronic pain. In the past, its was heavily opioids. We now know how dangerous that can be.

Many seniors entering the pain clinic are reluctant to deal with their pain with cannabis because the don’t want to smoke and for the older ones, the stigma the plant had in their mind.

But my thoughts are that vaping cannabis with a zero-nicotine vape juice would allow these patients the pain relief they require without the smoking, which they are reluctant to start. The vape juice may well give them flavours that would make the experience tolerable for these people.

In my opinion, sometimes the lesser of two evils can make a person’s existence better, in terms of smoking cessation or in fact for pain relief.

    1. Hi Mike

Thank you for reading and commenting on my article. The best part of nicotine in ejuice is that when you purchase ejuice you choose in the check to which level you would like to be at including zero. This option allows people to work their way off their addiction to nicotine.

I don’t know a lot about cannabis oil; I am still doing research. I do know there are tons of vaporizers out there for cannabis oil or CBD. I found a good article that I am using in my research on CBD for pain relief.

I am sorry if I didn’t answer all your questions, but I will have CBD thoroughly studied and an article published this time next week.

Thanks again and take care of yourself!
